Barbara “Barb” A. Gregory

Barbara “Barb” A. Gregory, age 74, of Quincy, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Sunset Home. Barb was born on January 27, 1941 in Carthage, a daughter to Opal Morgan. She married Jimmie Gregory on July 24, 1960 in Carthage. He survives.

Barb graduated from Carthage High School and was of the Christian faith.

She collected porcelain dolls, recipes and newspaper articles. Barb enjoyed putting together books for her children and grandchildren.

Barb is survived by her husband, two daughters, Nancy Deming of Quincy and Laura (Rick) Feltes of Palmyra, MO; one son, Jimmie Gregory of Quincy; six grandchildren, Ashley, Shawn, Chris, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, and Miranda; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Chayse, Mackenzie and Lexy; two sisters, Mary Jo Slater and Jolene Kempker, both of Hamilton.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a daughter, Janet Goodwin and two brothers, Larry and Jerry Vradenburg.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Blessing Breast Center.

    I have lots of fond memories and time spent at the Gregory house growing up, hanging out with my Uncle Jim, Aunt Barb and my cousins. Barb always had a smile on her face, a hug to give away, and a heart of gold! She will be missed. You are all in my prayers and I love you.

    I remember her from teaching Sunday school she was greatly appreciated and loved
