Barb was a very creative writer, she wrote many notes and cards to others offering her thoughts and support. Barb was always interested in all of the daily activities of her family and the happenings on the dairy farm. She was proud to talk about her historical home that was part of the Underground Railroad and decorated it for the different seasons and holidays. Most recently she was excited to pray with Bishop Thomas John Paprocki while she was in the hospital.

Even though I only knew Barb for such a short time, I knew I was taking with a lady who truly was an angel on earth.
Father Aaron, Our family sends all of you prayers and love. We are thinking about you at this time. Your mother sounds like an amazing woman and an amazing example to all of you. I know she is watching over all of you.
I am so sorry to hear of Barb passing. I always like talking to her. I’m sorry I read this late and missed visitation. Thinking of you in this difficult time.
We are very sorry to hear that Barbara Kuhn has passed. My brother Allen Jochem, and I became friends with her in 2011 when our Mom, Marian Jochem, became roommates with Barb’s mom, Millie Tournear, at St. Vincent’s Home. Both Barb and Millie were very good to our Mom and to us, and we had lots of laughs and good conversations over the years our moms shared the same room. Blessings upon Barb and Millie and the entire Kuhn Family. We are so sorry for your loss. We send you our love from Sharon and Allen here on earth, and Marian Jochem now in heaven.
I was so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. She was such a fun person. I always enjoyed the stories she submitted to the Liberty Bee about the family. I especially enjoyed the latest one about Nicholas (the bird). Her sense of humor would come through on her stories. You could tell she was so proud of her family. Both Aunt Barb and Uncle Tom were good people, and I always enjoyed being around them and listening to their stories. She will be missed. Will be thinking of everyone and praying you all get through this.
