Barbara A. “Barb” Eichman, age 58, of 2825 E. County Road 150, Augusta, IL, died on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 9:02 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 10, 1958 in Macomb, IL, a daughter of Richard & Nellie (Phillips) Creasey. She married Keith Eichman on September 3, 1993 in Carthage, IL. He survives.

Barb devoted her life to being a homemaker to her family. She attended The Crossing in Macomb.

Barb deeply loved her children, grandchildren, animals and flowers. She enjoyed spending time being outside on her swing.

In addition to her husband, Keith, she is survived by her children Mandy Stout and her husband Mike of Augusta, Michael Northern and his wife Bridgette of Bowen, IL, Mark Northern and his fiancée Casie Orris of Augusta, Dillon Eichman of Bowen, IL, Halee Eichman & Lacey Eichman both of Augusta; six grandchildren Geoffrey, Loren, Shelby, Maverick, Owen & Chase; and her in-laws, Don & Kathryn Eichman. Her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private services at The Crossing in Macomb will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Playground Fund or to The Crossing Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the services. www.dukerandhaugh.com
