    Brian, Donna, and family-
We are heartbroken about the loss of Austin and cannot even fathom the enormity of your grief. Although we didn’t really know him, he and your entire family were in our prayers during the expanse of his illness. Pastor Lois kept us informed and we shared his highs and lows over the years. May you find comfort in knowing the Lord is taking care of him in heaven now. We look forward to seeing you at Richfield
UMC in the near future. (Faithful Followers from Beverly.)

I remember Talmage, Austin and several friends spending the day playing in our creek. Walking up to the house, sun burned and only in underwear, handing me their sandy and muddy clothes to wash, Austin said, “at least will still have our underwear on.” What a fun and Awesome friend he was to everyone. He will be sorely missed.

    Frese Family,

My heart is broken for you and for the whole Payson community.
I started as the school counselor at Payson Seymour at the beginning of Austin’s senior year. Though I didn’t get to meet him right away, as soon as I started working there I knew who Austin was and what he meant to the community. Every student and staff member I met told me about Austin and the light he brought to this world. The world is darker without him.
I’m so thankful that I got to know such a humble, caring, funny, and kind young man. Austin will always hold a special place in my heart, as will you all.

P.S. Aden, you’re still “one of my kids” I’m always here for you!

Austin was such a spirited, funny soul that could always put a smile on anyone’s face. I had the privilege of going through confirmation class with Austin, and he always knew how to make us laugh even at the most boring of times. I am so grateful for the time that I was able to know him and regret not being able to know him more. I am sending so many thoughts and positive energy towards the Frese family and all those who were lucky enough to be touched by Austin’s light.
