Audrey Rose Hessling, 80, passed away in Georgetown, Texas on November 10, 2014.
She was born on January 10, 1934 in Quincy, Illinois to parents John F. and Rose Catherine (Fischer) Meyer. Audrey married Richard E. Hessling on September 27, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois; they were married over 62 years.

She worked for Motorola in Quincy, Illinois and AirBorn in Georgetown, Texas doing factory and piece work for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. She loved camping and being outdoors as well as she was an avid bingo player. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, Quincy, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard Hessling, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Hessling of Georgetown, Texas; sons: Robin Hessling of Quincy, Illinois and Russell Hessling of Georgetown, Texas; Grandsons: Richard and Conner Hessling; Granddaughters: Rebecca and Rachelle Hessling.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to cancer research.
