Arley Loyde Howard, age 55, of 515 North 5th, died on Friday, April 10, 2015 . He was born on April 21, 1959 in Quincy, the son of Paul Vernon and Irene Lucille (Bush) Howard. He was raised by his step-father, Richard Pipkin, Sr.
Arley worked for many years at an orchard, Greenmount Cemetery, Village Inn and most recently as a janitor at Titan Wheel. He was in the US Navy. Arley attended the Crossing.
His son, Arley John was his life. He loved being outdoors; camping and taking care of his yard and plants.
He is survived by two sons: Arley John Howard and Jason Howard; three siblings, Debbie Waters (Terry) of Quincy, Richard Pipkin, and Karen Fields (Doug) of LaBelle, MO; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father and a sister in infancy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice. Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
