Anthony L. Meyer, age 77, of Quincy, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1939 in Quincy the son of Arthur and Ruth (Ayala) Meyer. He was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame.

He married Sandra Schlueter on October 23, 1959. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2015.

Anthony was the long-time owner and operator of Meyer Heating & Air Conditioning. Along with his wife, they operated the business for over 52 years.

Anthony was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. At the church, he enjoyed being an usher.

He is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN, Troy Meyer and his wife Robyn and Tracy Smith and her husband Russell;
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN, Jacob Meyer and his wife Amanda, Joshua Meyer and his wife Ana, R.J. Smith and Rylee Smith
ONE GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Oliver Meyer
FOUR SISTERS: Micheale ‘Mickey’ Ross and her significant other David Vance; Barbara Buffington, Cheryl Royal, and Nancy Meyer Prost.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents.

Private services were held. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
