Anna Mae Fisk

Anna Mae Fisk, age 86, of Quincy, died on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Illinois Veterans Home.

She was born on February 17, 1934 in Quincy, the daughter of Newton and Wilma (Geise) Tweedell. Anna was married to Dean Jones, and he preceded her in death. On January 2, 1993, Anna married Gary Fisk, he preceded her in death on September 8, 2017.

Anna worked for many years at Blessing Hospital in the Telecommunications Department, retiring in October of 2010. She had a great love of bowling and always enjoyed trips to the Riverboat.

Left to cherish Anna’s memory are her two sons: Michael (Kathleen) Jones of Quincy, Joe (Janie) Jones of Camdenton, Missouri; one daughter, Jeri (Steve) Rupp of Hallsville, Missouri; two sisters: Marilyn Reeder of Davenport, Iowa, Shirley Schooler of Charlotte, North Carolina; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one sister, Margie Ross; and two brothers: Bill Tweedell and Don Tweedell.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.
A private visitation is planned. Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Veteran’s Home Activity Fund or the Quincy Humane Society. Online condolences and expressions of sympathy may be made through www.dukerandhaugh.com.

    Have fond memories when she worked at Blessing Hospital, such a sweet lady my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

    Our deepest sympathies to all of our family members mourning the loss of our beloved Annie. Many fond memories from over the years especially the Tweedell sisters vacations we chaperoned.
