Anna M. Freiburg
Anna M. Freiburg, age 90, of St. Vincent Home, died on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1925 in Quincy, the daughter of Fred H. and Anna (Wichman) Bosse. She married Donald W. Freiburg on October 11, 1947 in St. Francis Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2007.
Anna was a nurses’ aid at the Illinois Veterans Home until her retirement. She belonged to Triple Oaks and Ladies of St. Francis. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and with her family.
She is survived by two sons: Jim Freiburg of Quincy and Patrick (Ann) of Springfield, IL; one daughter: Rose (David) Culbertson of Springfield, IL; four grandchildren: Michael and Ashley Freiburg of Ohio, Jessica and Michele Freiburg of Chicago, Parker Freiburg and Lauren Freiburg of Springfield, IL; and three great-grandchildren: Caroline Freiburg, Evelyn Freiburg, and Harrison Freiburg.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church.
