Angela C. Ley

Angela C. Ley, age 87, of the St. Vincent Home, died on July 6, 2016 in the Home. She was born on May 10, 1929 in Quincy the daughter of Joseph & Angela (Musholt) Ley. She was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame. For many years, Angela was a cook at the St. Francis Rectory. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was also a member of the Secular Franciscans, the Ladies of St. Francis and an affiliate of the Franciscan Province of the Sacred Heart.

Angela was a good seamstress and a wonderful cook.

She is survived by:
FOUR SIBLINGS: Joseph Ley of Roger AR; Mary Hilgenbrinck of Bloomington, IL; John Ley and his wife Betty of Quincy and Robert Ley and his wife Delores of Quincy.
SISTER-IN-LAW: Vera Ley of Quincy.
A host of nieces, nephew and other relatives also survive.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Frank Ley, a sister-in-law: Rita Ley, a Brother in law: Robert Hilgenbrinck and two nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Secular Franciscan Service at 5:30. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Church for masses in her memory. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    May Angela rest in God’s peace. She was an affiliate of Sacred Heart Province and will be remembered in our prayers.
