Alice M. Urbaitis, age 101, of Good Samaritan Home, died on Monday, September 27, 2021 in the Home. She was born on April 1, 1920 in Chicago, IL. Alice was married first to Andrew McGinley, he preceded her in death, she later married John Urbaitis, and he preceded her in death.

Alice was a teller and auditor in the banking business. She attended St. Peter Catholic Church. Alice was a good person with a sharp wit.

Alice is survived by a stepdaughter, Patricia (Dan) Kojder of Braidwood, IL; a nephew, Rev. Kevin Speice of FL; and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and three sons, Andrew, Connie and Patrick McGinley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Peter. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral at St. Peter between 12:30 and 1:30. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or Good Samaritan Home Activities Fund.
