Alex J. Booth, age 19, of Quincy and a student at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, died on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 6:18 PM in Carbondale. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Joey Phillips. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4-8 PM. Memorials may be made to the SIU Engineering Department or the SIU Paintball Club.
