Aidyn Deege

Aidyn Hunter Deege, age 25, of Quincy, IL, passed away on October 19, 2024 in St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born on August 16, 1999, in Quincy.

Aidyn lived for the thrill of life on wheels and the rush of the outdoors. Whether he was tearing up the trails on his four-wheeler, chasing freedom on his dirt bike, or revving up his motorcycle, he was always in search of the next great adventure. Nothing truly compared to the love for his truck- a trusty companion and source of pride that he carried with him for everyone to see.

He found most of his childhood memories kicking in the dirt with his brothers. Fishing with his dad and grandpa were treasured moments he held close to his heart. He even had his hand in duck hunting. You could find Aidyn on the weekends at a golf course with a cold beer in hand where he was perfectly content even if he went alone.

A fierce competitor at heart, Aidyn loved the excitement of a challenge and never missed the chance to test his skills. Recently, he had found a love in taking on friendly rivalries at the pool table. He had a gift for making people laugh and feel at home, no matter where he went.

To know Aidyn, was to love him. He made sure to leave a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of crossing his path. Without fail, his love for his friends and family was unwavering and will continue to be a source of joy and comfort for all.

Aidyn is survived by his father Bryon Deege (Melinde), his mother Crystal Deege and siblings: Devyn (Jenna) Deege, Ethyn Deege, Flynn (Kaylee) Deege, and Kannyn Deege; paternal grandparents: Jeff and Kathy Deege; nephews: River and Bentley; best friend, Josh (Maddy) Lohman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Aidyn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ross and Marsha Parsons.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

My prayers are with you Crystal, Ethan and Kelsey… the rest of the family. I take peace in the belief that Jaycob and him are together at the right hand of God in his army now. I personally believe that they are angels… that’s just me tho
