Agnes Bunfill
Agnes Bunfill, age 84, of 910 North 12th Street, Quincy, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 5:35 a.m. in Good Samaritan Home. She was born on November 27, 1926 in Nebo, Illinois, a daughter of Lewis and Ada (Jones) Hannel. She married Harry Elmer Bunfill on June 18, 1944 in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1985.
Agnes was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. Agnes enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. She loved her grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include:
FIVE CHILDREN: Beverly Emery (Donald) of LaGrange, MO, Robert Bunfill (Peggy) of St. Louis, MO, Stan Bunfill (Dawn) of LaBelle, MO, Trish Burwinkel (Raymond) of Quincy, Paul Bunfill (Debbie) of Elsberry, MO;
ONE BROTHER: John Hannel (June) of Pleasant Hill, IL;
ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN;
EIGHTEEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN;
ONE GREAT-GREAT-GRANDAUGHTER. Many nieces & nephews also survive.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, a daughter, Sharon Burkett, four sisters, including a twin sister in infancy, and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Blessing Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Screenings.

Beverly and family, I’m so sorry I didn’t get to care for your mom longer. It was nice to meet the family a few days ago. Even though you are grieving right now, I’m sure you are glad she is at rest. Yo are certainly in my thoughts and prayers.
