Michael Bourne, age 52, of Quincy, died on Thursday, August 13, 2026 in his home. He was born on February 9, 1974 in Quincy the son of Michael and Donna (Clark) Bourne.

Michael served in the United States Marine Corp.

He was a devoted fan of STARWARS, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Denver Broncos.

He is survived by:

HIS CHILDREN: Devon Jansen, Melissa Bourne, Nichole Bourne, Logan Greenwood, Oliver Bourne and Penelope Bourne.

SIBLINGS: Debbie Bourne and Beth Anne Pappenfoht (Heins)

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. Military rites to be conducted by the Marine Corps Honor Detail and the American Legion Post #37 Honor Detail. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to the American Society for Addiction Medicine. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
