Carol Geers, age 86, of Barry, died on June 20, 2026 at Illini Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1940 in Quincy, the daughter of Frederick and Gertrude (Geers) Rosswog. She married Roger Geers on September 6, 1958 in St. Francis Catholic Church. He preceded her in death.

She loved to play BINGO. Carol was very close to her family. In her free time, she enjoyed coloring with charcoal pencils.

Carol was of the Catholic faith.

FOUR CHILDREN: Jeannie Reddick and her husband Ron of Marblehead, IL; Randy Geers of St. Louis, MO, Brenda Gustafson and her husband Ken of Bradenton, FL; Karen Morris of Quincy, IL.
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Cory Cady and his wife Valerie; Leanne Crowell and her husband Richard; Erin Lamatis and her husband Josh; Bradley Gustafson; and Matthew Morris.
FOUR GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Kimber Cady; Payton Crowell, Autumn Crowell and Gabriel Crowell.
SEVEN GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Emerson, Everett, Wyatt and Weslie; Lucas, Evelyn, and Charlotte.
Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Inurnment in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the Activities Fund at Barry Community Care. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
