William ‘Bill’ R. Vogelpohl, age 72, of Quincy, died on April 28, 2026 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1954 in Inglewood, CA. The son of Louis & Marguerite (Waterkotte) Vogelpohl. Bill owned and operated a KFC franchise for many years.

He is survived by:
TWO SIBLINGS: Mary ‘Susie’ Manning (Jerry) of Bradenton, FL and Jack Vogelpohl (Susie) of Kissimmee, FL.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings Robert Vogelpohl and Patricia Graff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 12:00 Noon in St. Francis Catholic Church. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the Mass. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
