Collin James “C.J.” Little
Collin James “C.J.” Little, age 20, of Quincy, passed away on March 31, 2026 in his home. He was born on October 31, 2005, in Quincy, the son of Diane (Mitchell) and Kristopher “Kris” Little.
Collin graduated from Quincy Senior High School in 2024. He was a member of the Crossing. Collin was friendly, outgoing and memorable to all those he met. He was a hugger; and he loved his mom and dad. He liked listening to music and collecting “Lounge Fly” bags.
Collin wanted nothing more than to be a normal kid and do what normal kids do, but his illness kept him from that, but it did not ever change the amount of love and humor that he had towards other people.
He is survived by his parents, and two brothers: Jacob (Savannah) De LaGarza of Bloomington, IL and Asher Isaiah Little of Quincy. One niece, Violet De LaGarza; paternal grandparents: Connie (Jim) Hornsey and Harold “Pete” (Kelly) Little. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Mitchell and step-grandpa, George Geisendorfer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Diane Little. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.

Such a sweet spirit and loved having him around in the hills when he was here. I’ve known his mom for years and definitely feeling for her in this time and sending prayers and love to them.
Collin you will always have a place in my heart next to your papa. I will miss you every moment of every day. You were my “monkey boy” and will carry that name forever. I will miss your mischievous grin and your silly sense of humor and most of all your hugs and kisses. Give papa a hug from me …love you Grandma
