Ryatt Gage Robert Skelley

Ryatt Gage Robert Skelley, infant son of Kira and Glenn Skelley, died on March 21, 2026, in Blessing Hospital.

Ryatt was, and will always be, profoundly loved—a son, a brother, a presence that forever changed his family. Even before his first breath, he had already begun his work, drawing hearts closer, softening every corner of their lives with anticipation and joy. His brothers counted down the days with wonder, asking about him, speaking to him, loving him without ever needing to see his face. He made them gentler, more aware, more full of love. He made all of them more.

He was meant to be a beautiful surprise, a new beginning filled with laughter and life. Though that moment did not unfold as hoped, the love that surrounded him never wavered—it only grew deeper, stronger, more enduring. In his brief time, Ryatt created a lasting imprint, one that cannot be measured in days but in the depth of love he awakened.

Ryatt is the kind of love that does not leave. He is the reason his family holds each other tighter, loves more fiercely, and sees the world through changed hearts. Even in grief, he remains a source of light, of tenderness, of transformation. His life—no matter how short—was powerful, purposeful, and full of meaning. And that meaning, that love, will continue on in every breath his family takes.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by three older brothers: Robbie, Roman, and Riven Skelley.

Maternal grandparents: Rob (Rebecca) Harrison and Leroy Huber, and paternal grandparents, Rebecca Henley and Robert Skelley.

Maternal great-grandparents Sandra Harrison and Charles Harrison, paternal great-grandparents Hilario (Sylvia) Cansino, Mary Carlson.

Many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and other relatives also survive.

Ryatt was preceded in death by his grandma, Trasie Huber, maternal great-grandfather, Bud Briscoe, and his paternal great grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
