Angela M. Cramsey Huner

Angela M. Cramsey Huner, age 102, of Quincy, died on January 19, 2026, in Quincy. She was born on September 25, 1923, in Burton, Illinois, the daughter of Mortiz Cramsey and Clementine Lange Cramsey. She married Wayne Franklin Huner on June 23, 1945, in St. Francis Catholic Church.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

As a child, Angela attended a one room school. Later in life, she obtained her GED and attended Gem City Business College.

Angela held various jobs including working at a cable factory in St. Louis during World War II, contributing to the war effort. She later worked at Walgreens Drug Store, Gem City Pizzeria, Hugo’s Pizza, and most importantly as a homemaker.

Angela was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time outside and gardening. Even at age 100, she could still be found in her yard picking up sticks. She was an accomplished baker and made delicious pies and cookies. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader. Angela loved being active and in her youth, once roller skated from Quincy to Liberty.

Angela is survived by her children: Roger (Ann) Huner of Quincy; Carol Hoffman of Quincy; Patt (Judy Schnelle) Huner of Quincy; Gerald (Kathy) Huner of Quincy; Margaret (Mike) Deters of Jackson, Miss.; and Nancy (John) Grave of Quincy.

Grandchildren: Roger (Carolyn) Huner II, Anita (Roger) Failor, Rodney (Lisa) Hoffman, Michelle (Steve) Hendrix, Traci (Norman) Gray, Rob (Marcie) Huner, Julie Huner, Cade (Donna) Deters, Jeremy (Britt) Deters, Nick Deters, Bridgette (Corey) Griffin, Stacie (Jeff) Niffen, and Ryan (Casey) Grave.

Great-grandchildren: Síobhan Huner, Brianna Huner, Corrigan Huner, Cody (fiancée Stephanie) Failor, Jasmine Failor, Daxton Failor, Avery (girlfriend Lexi) Hoffman, Austin (fiancée Leah) Hoffman, Krystin (Jonathan) McTigrit, Dr. Jocelyn (Dr. Hayden) Elliott, Dacota Washington, Sam Huner, Eric Keto, Mari Ashlyn, and Carter Griffin, Lyla Niffen, Lillie and Logan Grave.

Angela is also survived by six great-great-grandchildren.

Sisters-in-law: Lou McGlaughlin, Kay (Stanley) Seals, Charlotte Huner, and Joann Huner. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, son-in-law Rodney Hoffman, her siblings, their spouses, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Quincy Public Library’s Outreach Program, St. Francis Catholic Church, and Blessing Hospice. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.

    Dear Huner family
    So sorry about your dear mother. I remember the family at St. Rose do many years ago, and when you attended the school. Roger snd Pat I remember but ill have a mass said for her at St. Rose.
