Stephanie J. Bolte

Stephanie J. Bolte, age 46, of Quincy, died on Monday, December 29, 2025 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1979 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Robert J. & Kathleen ‘Kathy’ (Hummel) Bolte.

Stephanie had worked as a hairdresser in the Quincy area. She attended Salem Lutheran Church in Mendon. She liked to fish.

Stephanie is survived by her father, Robert J. Bolte of Quincy, her brothers Tony (Amanda) Bolte of Macomb, IL and Matt (Samantha Patterson) Bolte of Quincy. Nieces and nephews including Lucas Bolte, Hayley and Hannah Simpson, Kelsey, Jordan and Brennan Bolte; Parker Doss, and aunts Pamela Hills and Jeannie White, an uncle Roger Bolte along with several cousins also survive.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother Kathy Bolte, sisters: Jennifer Bolte and Christina ‘Chrissi’ Bolte, her grandparents, a niece Andrea Bolte and several aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 1:00PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the family which will be donated to Autism and Cerebral Palsy research. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Im so sorry for your lost the entire Bolte Family. Stephanie was a beautiful person inside and out. She was my best friend. I will never be the same without her in my life. Fly high Steph with the angels and your sisters and your mom. Love you always Til we meet again.

    Stephanie was a friend and always checked in on me when she saw a post I made that wasnt good she even met with me couple months ago and said I want you to have this tablet I don’t use bless her heart she will be missed

    I met Stephanie years ago at a community event. We were barely teenagers. She was funny and sweet. She will be missed by many!
