Ralph D. Jordan, age 68, of Fowler, died on September 4, 2025, in his home.

He was born on December 15, 1956, in Quincy, the son of Theodore R. “Ralph” and Lillian S. (Hammond) Jordan.

He was a graduate of Mendon Unity High School. Ralph was employed for many years as the Groundskeeper at Mendon Cemetery.

Ralph served in the United States Navy and retired after 13 years. He participated in amateur radio and was a member of the NRA. Ralph was a political man, specifically a Republican.

He is survived by his two daughters: Kaia Jordan and Jessica Jordan. Siblings: James West (Debbie) of Mendon, and Brenda Leernert (Lloyd). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marguerite Englebrecht; brother, Donald Rossiter, and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Rossiter.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.at Sunset Cemetery located at the Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy with Military Honors.
