As a 1972 Classmate of Jerry’s he was always smiling and such a nice guy and he will be missed by all of us. Everyone is posting on our class page about his kindness and his smile since it was posted about his passing so know that we all thought the world of him. When I last saw him I told Jerry how much of a kick I got out of him putting up The Poore House on your mailbox and of course he laughed. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace Jerry🙏🙏💔

My most vivid memories of Jerry occurred during our high school graduation rehearsal and the ceremony the following night. I was seated between Jerry and an another class clown. They hid my shoes and kept me laughing throughout the long rehearsal. There were more than 800 graduates in our class. Needless to say, I was expecting more high jinks during the actual ceremony. When I made it to the podium with my shoes on, mortar board in place and diploma in hand I was much relieved. I’ll never forget Jerry for giving me a most memorable graduation! My condolences to Jerry’s family and friends. He was a wonderful classmate.
Amy, keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers
So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was always a joy to talk to whenever or wherever I seen him. While he was working at York Steak House, he was my mother’s manager. I used to go to work with her in the summer time when school was not in session. And then after my wife and I got married, Jerry was our American Family agent. We had a storm come through our town and Jerry just showed up as he wanted to make sure we were taken care of!! Also, he would always bring us calendar towards the end of the year in person to our door and expressed his sincere thanks and gratefulness for our business. Jerry was a great guy and will be remembered always!! Hugs, prayers, and love sent your families way.
Amy, I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family
