Such a sweet sweet lady, we were neighbors on Cherry Street in the early 1960’s. A wonderful family, that was more than neighbors but as a friend as well. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

To the entire Bailey family, I’m reminded of the song that says, “It’s so hard to say goodbye”. While we will all miss her, we can also find comfort in 2nd Timothy 4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith…now it’s time she receives her reward. Rest well thy good a faithful servant.
    With warm regards,
The Eddie and Mona Fletcher family

Gilberta Bailey was best friend to my sister, Mary V Scott and adopted me as her little brother. She and Leon were hard working, fun loving and great parents. I was blessed to Gilberta’s “little brother “ during her lifetime and know that she is at eternal peace with God. Heart felt condolences to The Leon and Gilberta children and family ❤️🙏🏾 Donnie Scott (Hunnewell), Brigadier General, US Army Retired
