Jo Ellen “Jodi” Six Urban
Jo Ellen “Jodi” Six Urban, age 62, of Jacksonville, IL died on May 22, 2025, in Quincy. She was born on August 8, 1962, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Clyde and Louise (Birdsell) Six.
Jodi was a homemaker. She was very good at cooking and baking. She also was very skilled at sewing, crocheting and other needlework.
Jodi is survived by her:
CHILDREN: Amy Brogdon of Pittsburg, MO; Josh Brogdon (Brandi) of Rochester, IL; and Holly Wells (Wyatt Bain) of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Alex; Vera, Savanna and Raven; Brady, Noah, and Karigen.
SIBLINGS: Steve Six, Leann Six Gregory, and Lisa Six Pinkerton.
Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, and her longtime companion David Schoch.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Jodi’s life will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm at Emanual Baptist Church at 320 East Franklin St, Roodhouse, IL. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jodi was a great friend. She was there to help a neighbor when they needed it. I will never forget the times we had.
