Jean Darline Miller

Jean Darline Miller, age 75, of Quincy, IL died on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Blessing Hospital. She was born on September 6, 1949, in Quincy, IL. She was the daughter of Eugene and Mary Jane (Hulett) Miller.

Jean had worked as a caretaker for Sunset Home. She spent most of her time as a companion to help the elderly.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church of St. James.

Jean’s pastimes included playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, reading, and watching Westerns. In her younger years, Jean participated in league bowling.
She also liked to do needlepoint and to cook and bake. She enjoyed listening to music from 1950’s and 60’s and was a fan of Elvis. She had an outpouring of love for her dog, Peewee. A social butterfly, Jean loved her family and made sure they knew it.

Jean is survived by her former spouse, Larry Kulisch. Two children, Russ and Tanangi Mitchell, both of Quincy. Four siblings: Teresa Jording, Laura Kent, Cleve Miller, and Gene Miller. Two Grandchildren: Ashley Gooding and Zachery O’Banion. Three Great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Jean was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Private family services are planned. Arrangements for cremation are with Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
