Ronald William Spilker

Ronald William Spilker, age 67, of Quincy, IL, died on March 18, 2025 in Timberpoint Health Care Center, Camp Point, IL. He was born on August 5, 1957, in Quincy, IL, the son of Alfred and Mildred Millie (Keller) Spilker. He married Joy L. (Stoermer) Spilker, she preceded him in death.

Ron was a Quincy High School graduate.

He was employed at JM Huber, where he worked as a forklift operator up until his retirement in 2001. He was a good bowler and took part in league bowling for many years. Some of Ronald’s favorite past times included playing cards such as Euchre, Rummy, and Uno. Ron enjoyed playing games that would force him to think critically, such as Suduko. He is known for his use of the phrase “what goes around comes around.” One of Ronald’s greatest talents was telling jokes and making others laugh.

Ron was a member of Salem Evangelical Church.

Ron is survived by two children: Kenneth Rawlings and Brianna (Bret McAlister) Spilker.
A sister: Carole Glosemeyer; a brother and sister-in-law: Michael (Tracy) Stoermer.
Nieces and nephews: Kelle (Ross) Beswick; Ted Glosemeyer; Raiden and Dalton Stoermer.

In addition to his wife, Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and his twin in infancy.

Arrangements for cremation are with Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
