Bruce W. Bias

Bruce “Banks” W. Bias, age 75, of Quincy, died on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on March 14, 1950 in Quincy the son of James and Mildred (Holly) Bias.

Bruce worked in Manufacturing in the Quincy area. He loved sports and was an avid Blue Devil and Louisville Cardinal Basketball fan. Bruce also enjoyed playing cards and hanging out with his friends.

Bruce is survived by:
HIS LONG TIME FRIEND AND COMPANION: Brenda French
SONS: Bruce Bias (Rachel) of Lee’s Summit, MO and Tyfus Bias (Melissa Lewis-Bias) of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Bruce A. Bias, Sydney Bias, Sha’Tya Bias, Tabitha Jones, Sajauda Bonner and Demontae Kewney.
A BROTHER: Otis Bias
Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends survive.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Mary Bias, Bonnie Orange, Darlene Sue Bias, Laura Abbey, Vernon ’Skeet’ Bias and James ‘Duke’ Bias.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery, There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Uncle Banks I will always remember our time at the casinos and seeing you smile while hitting jackpots in La Grange you will always be remembered never forgotten until we see each other again your with your family up in heaven looking down upon us
