My heart goes out to all of my brothers Family,-it will take some time for all who knew Rick to heal. Meeting Rick some 10 years or so was a game changer for me and my family,Not only did he teach me many things, but we had each others back,i will severely miss or walks as we talked. I only consider a few Men to be real friends and brothers-Rick was like a little Big Tall Brother to me,i can’t describe the loss i feel-(im sure it will hit hard soon)- he shared his qualities of Honesty, caring for others and loved to teach people new things-one straight shooter for sure, there are not to many people that one can truly count on in this world and I could always count on Rick. He stood behind me when i made the BIG decision to follow my dream of returning to the ocean-always giving me encouragement – i just wish i could of got him down here to share my paradise with him-The MSA finally took over-after the long battle. The one thing we always spoke of was Death-neither he or i shared any fears of the final day-he like me was only concerned about our families and the loved one we would leave behind. Rest easy my Brother-you will always be in my heart and i will carry you until we meet again. ALL my prayers and love to the family-im sure the grandmother we always spoke of is there guiding you. Aho UDI walk in peace

I remember how Ricky would light up whenever our Cub Scout Den went to the woods and looked for animal tracks and bird nests. He sure lived the outdoors. My sympathy and prayers for your family.

I am saddened to hear of this. He and I were class mates and were in scouting together. We also share the same Birthday although he is a couple hours older than me. My heart goes out to Donna and the rest of the family.
